Love and Servanthood
Creative Activation is committed to loving God, loving others, and servanthood! We are passionate about interacting with creatives who understand the importance of love and servanthood. Love and servanthood is the core heartbeat of who we are. We are not looking for self-glorification; we are looking for humble hearts that are willing to serve for God-glorification. Nevertheless, we understand that many creatives are on a spiritual journey, so we offer grace and mercy, and we show servanthood through our actions. We are not here to judge; we are here to love. Love and servanthood are the foundational values that remain at the core of every other value we believe in and stand for.

Community: Authentic/Genuine Relationships
Creative Activation is a social opportunity with like-minded creatives, but it’s much more than just that! We avoid cliques. We want people to connect and build friendships, but, more than that, Creative Activation is ministerial and intentional about equipping and inspiring artists to influence their culture for Christ. We want to go beyond surface-level networking and hit the area of heart-level networking by forming genuine friendships. We want to know God intimately, know each other just as closely, and make Christ known to the community. We want divine appointments and alignments to be birthed through our gatherings. We want to foster genuine relationships and authentic community with a heart of love.

Recreation: Play, Fun, Rest, and Celebration
Creative Activation believes that play, fun, rest, and celebration will often intersect with the diverse personalities of creative minds. We love fostering environments of recreation, as these are typically the environments that are most conducive for the creation of art. When we are rested and at peace, we are liberated to create our pieces with a spirit of joy. We avoid negative religious mindsets that hinder the free expression of the Holy Spirit, yet we are mindful to monitor counterfeit manifestations of the Holy Spirit. We believe that God delights in us, and we, too, should delight in Him and how He designed us.

Innovation
Creative Activation is open-minded and God-centered. We think outside the box. We accept the uncommon and unusual ways God wants to minister to us or through us. We pray for spiritual revelation and practical wisdom. We are modern-day Davids, after God’s own heart! We are modern-day Josephs, dreamers with divine calling and destiny over our lives! We are Holy-Spirit-led, allowing God and scriptural truth to be at the foundation of everything we create.

Respect and Diversity
Creative Activation is welcoming to people of all ethnicities, backgrounds, denominations, and walks of life. Anyone who joins Creative Activation must respect the values and vision of our cause. Guests may have disagreements, but they must communicate those disagreements by speaking the truth in love. We do not tolerate gossip, hate speech, slander, spiritual abuse, or any form of bullying or harassment. Any form of harassment should be reported to the leaders and resolved immediately.

We do recommend that anyone who joins our gatherings be in one of the following groups: high school, college, or further in their adulthood years, as we may cover topics that reach beyond the scope of understanding for preteens and elementary students.

Creative Expression
We welcome all forms of art; whether it is dance, singing, writing, photography, graphic design, film, poetry, or any other form of art – all forms of creative expression are welcome.  We encourage creatives to open up their “brainstorming” work to us before it is released in public spaces. We also require that creative expression be family-friendly and clean upon release in our community. No cursing, derogatory statements, or inappropriate comments will be accepted. We do offer valuable feedback, but only when the creative artist requests for feedback or during designated events that are set aside for that specific purpose. Regardless, we are a loving support system for the various forms of creative expression.

In the future, we hope to have small groups that will place you in environments with people of your same age and creative field. Once smaller groups are established, there will be opportunity to share the depth of your art and grow in your field of excellence. We want to awaken the talents God has placed inside of you! We have a vision to see you activate your creativity in safe environments for personal growth, and our dream is for you to be progressively launched out into open doors of God-given opportunity!

Unity: Teamwork and Collaboration
We believe that teamwork makes the dream work! We want to develop relationships and networks inside and outside our gatherings, to inspire change in our city and influence beyond our borders. We have a launch team that is at the foundation of launching this creative arts ministry forward. They are the strategic visionaries who are risk-takers, allowing their imagination to foster new ideas and concepts. We encourage collaboration/teamwork in our gatherings as well – singers connecting with dancers, painters connecting with photographers, etc. We believe that teamwork and collaboration are tools that inspire unity among diverse groups of creatives. We believe in unity and oneness and the power of coming together for kingdom purposes and glorifying the Father.

Activism
We believe that commercials, videos, the Internet, entertainment, and many other outlets are a catalyst for activism. Now, who designs a large portion of the media we see today? …Creatives! Creatives are the ones chosen behind the scenes to produce projects that have the potential to leave a mark on this world. It is absolutely critical to recognize the power creativity has to be a voice for the voiceless and a voice for the Lord. We believe in standing up for justice and protecting the rights of the most vulnerable. We believe creatives play a critical role in being the developers of media that sparks godly activism! We believe in rallying behind the projects of creatives who share our vision, values, and message.
