Creative Activation is a gathering of creative artists who have different skill sets, gifts, and abilities but hold a common thread to their personal journeys: Jesus Christ. Creative Activation is a creative arts ministry that focuses on building community within the field of the creative arts. Creative Activation is open to guests who desire to attend but don’t consider themselves creative. We welcome guests who do not consider themselves artistic but express appreciation for the creative arts and are passionate about seeing the creative arts transform culture, serve the hurting, spark change in cities, and influence the media for good. Our mission is to form a safe and loving alliance through the power of the Holy Spirit and awaken our creative gifts, as we activate each one as servants of God, for His ultimate glory and kingdom purposes.
Although Creative Activation will host events for artists, Creative Activation, in and of itself, is not an event. Creative Activation is a special gathering of creatives who are intentional about growing professionally, spiritually, and relationally. Creatives socialize with other creatives to find the support they need to cultivate a spirit of excellence in what they do.
We welcome all forms of art; whether it is dance, singing, writing, photography, graphic design, film, spoken word poetry, or any other form of art – all is welcome. In the future, we foresee creating smaller groups that will meet separately and provide practical pointers and tips in particular fields of interest. For now, all creatives meet collectively, regardless of the form of art they practice.
At the heartbeat of who we are is the values of loving God, loving others, and servanthood. Apart from love, our works and talents will not be considered successful, but with God’s love at the center of our mission and knowing our identity in Him at the root, we become visionaries who set this world ablaze with the light of Christ inside us. We are modern-day Davids, after God’s own heart! We are modern-day Josephs, dreamers with divine calling and destiny over our lives! We are Holy-Spirit-led, allowing God and scriptural truth to be at the foundation of everything we create.
